FTC stands for Flip Top Closure, which opens and closes on a hinge. The Screw Cap FTC is designed to thread onto the tube head before flipping open, while the Snap Fit FTC is designed to press directly onto the head without threading. While both are used in tubes that offer one-hand dispensing, choose between the two based on your product’s viscosity and how your end customer is likely to use it.
LDPE is soft and highly squeezable, and is used for cosmetic formulas where easy dispensing matters. HDPE is stiffer and more chemically resistant, making it the better option for pharmaceutical ointments, antiseptics, and any formula that contains aggressive ingredients.
All our round tubes are manufactured from polyethylene (LDPE or HDPE) and EVOH. None of the compounds that go into manufacturing the tubes contains bisphenol A. Plus, LDPE and HDPE are widely approved for direct skin and product contact, making them safe for cosmetic and pharmaceutical use.
We offer empty tubes with the caps and seals fitted across the orifice. The base of the tube is left open for your filling line. Once you fill the tube, the base needs to be crimped and sealed by you or your contract manufacturer. If you need guidance on filling line compatibility for a specific diameter or orifice size, we are happy to help.
Production lead time varies based on the size of the order and will be disclosed once the designs and quantity are finalized. Once your brief and artwork are confirmed, our team moves the order into production immediately.
Yes. By choosing a single diameter and cap type across a product range, you can create a consistent brand family on shelf, with decoration and colour used to differentiate individual SKUs. Our team can help you plan a design range that balances visual consistency with the specific dispensing and barrier requirements of each formula that you offer.
